Our History

In 2006, MultiTracks.com was founded to resource worship leaders on the concept of running loops, clicks, and multitracks in live worship. In just a few years, we went from recording our own multitracks with professional musicians, to licensing Original Artist Masters from Integrity Music, Capitol Christian Music Group, Hillsong, and many other music labels and churches.

Today, we're grateful to see churches all over the world benefit from the products and training that we provide to assist worship teams through our growing catalogs now in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. Our company is now made up of many types of creative professionals, but the common thread in all of us is that we love that we get to make a tangible impact in the weekly routine of worship leaders serving in their local church.

The first time we used MultiTracks.com for our worship service, one of our pastors came up to me and said: John, the worship sounded great today! Did you guys do something different? I laughed, of course, and said, Yes! We've added about 10 more people to our worship team! Getting ready for our first MultiTracks.com worship experience was a learning process, but the people at MultiTracks.com really helped me every step of the way to make sure my first Sunday using MultiTracks would run smooth... and it did. I sent 4 tracks to the sound guy using the Firewire 410 and it gave me the freedom to adjust the click in my earsas well as the instruments, the bass and the background vocals. This separation of parts through the Firewire 410 gave us a lot of control. We are a young church (2 years old) running about 80 people on average and were not Nashville where even the guy at the gas station plays an instrument. :) It's been very difficult to make 3 people sound big, until now. I recommend MultiTracks.com if you are a church plant or if you are a big church that does remote work such as evangelistic outreaches on campus and the like. "

We go into every weekend confident that the sound we produce will be excellent and full. Consistency has made the biggest impact. Because we use a PreSonus FireBox interface with multiple outs, our clicks and cues have a dedicated line to the band's ears, always allowing for individual adjustments per track. If we are missing an electric guitarist or bass player, we plug in their wireless pack directly into another output so that the sound board gets a clear signal with a similar EQ. If we have a choir, we send a dedicated output from the MultiTracks to help boost their sounds. Our transitions between songs have gone up a notch since using MultiTracks in sync with Ableton Live's arrangement view. Tempo adjusts automatically and we can build in our own instrumental transitions to the track so that the worship experience is seamless. More recently, we've utilized ProPresenter's MIDI module to allow us to keep lyrics and videos in complete sync with our music. By sending MIDI signals to each computer (one track is dedicated to our video computer, another dedicated to our lyrics computer), we are always confident that the audience experiences a smooth flow and is ahead of the words they're about to sing. MultiTracks has done a great deal to move our ministry forward. In the process of establishing systems that have eliminated inconsistencies and previous stresses, we are now able to dedicate more of our time, focus, and energy on ministering to and developing our team members to lead worship. We're able to take more time to focus on what matters: reaching people who are a long way from God, connecting them with His presence, and encouraging them to grow into all He's intended for them to be.
